Commercial Business
If you are a commercial business you are allowed to have only 2 vehicles in the parade. This includes a trailer with one vehicle. There is only one registration per business.
Non-Profit, Church, Youth Organization, or Government
If you are a non-profit, church, or youth organization you are allowed to have only 2 vehicles in the parade. This includes a trailer with one vehicle. There is only one registration per non-profit, church, and youth organization.
Walking Group
This is for a walking group ONLY. There is only one walking group per organization. DOES NOT INCLUDE VEHICLES.

57th Annual Abingdon Kiwanis CHRISTMAS PARADE
The 57th Annual Abingdon Christmas Parade organized by the Kiwanis Club for the Town of Abingdon and sponsored by Bart Long & Associates Realty and Auction, LLC.
Things to Remember:
- All parade entries must be decorated in the spirit of Christmas.
- Christmas themed music is encouraged but no bullhorns or loud speakers are permitted.
- Do not throw candy from vehicles, candy is encouraged and should be distributed by hand. This is for safety!!!
- The Kiwanis Club reserves the right to reject any entry they feel is inappropriate for the parade.
- The parade is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Abingdon.
- Staging for the parade begins at 3:30pm on Main Street between Preston Street (up from Old Southern States Building ) and Porterfield Hwy. Please enter the staging area on West Main Street near Dairy Queen and Pizza Inn.
- Parade entries will be judged at 4:15pm, only parade entries staged and ready to go on Main Street between Preston Street and Porterfield Hwy will be judged for prizes.
